I have a 2007 avalanche 2wd and yesterday the stability control light and beeper kept coming on and simultaneously it started shifting rough and was a little slower to start. Just replaced the battery. The check engine warning light was illuminated and a message indicating that the vehicle was in reduced power engine mode was displayed.
